Welcome winter, and welcome to a whirling market and a great meeting place for commerce and festivities. 

 

This year's date: February 1-3, with opening on the evening of January 31.

 

Thursday-Saturday are traditional dates for the outdoor market itself, but throughout the week there are lots of activities, exhibitions, lectures, etc.
